Sports and Recreation

JDI Life Skills allow the opportunity for our youth to engage in Sports and Recreation. As our society becomes more sedentary, more of our young people are wasting their days by coming home from school and playing video games, on cell phones or surfing the web. Participation in sports not only aids physical and mental maturation, but it also has numerous positive effects later in life. It is very important that our youth get involved in the programs that result from the hard work of many people in our community.

Some activities will include basketball, football, volleyball, track and many more.

Racism is not an excuse to not do the best you can.

From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.

Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.
