Youth Justice Program

Youth Justice Program

JDI Youth Justice Program is a support network that is designed to assist our youth who may experience difficulty  transitioning from a juvenile justice facility back into the community.

What is our Youth Justice Program about?

JDI Life Skills will assist in delinquency prevention efforts seek to redirect youth who are considered at-risk for delinquency or who have committed a delinquent offense from deeper involvement in the juvenile justice system. We will provide mentoring services to include: needs/strengths assessment, development of a treatment plan and pre- and post-release support. We encourage the family of our youth to participate in the treatment plan. Our staff will provide mentors with a 3-day initial orientation and ongoing supervision throughout the program. Mentors will use the JDI curriculum to help our youth gain new life skills, learn how to set and achieve goals, and gain more insight into their current life situations.
